Today, November 3, 2026 is the Global Day of Supply Chain, Logistics and Transportation. And the 107th anniversary of the founding of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, the instigators of this event.

According to ILOSTAT data over 200 million people work in logistics, transportation and supply chain. That represents approximately 6% of the world's total working population. The Global Day of Supply Chain, Logistics and Transportation recognises the people, systems and connections that keep our world moving, highlighting the innovation, collaboration and sustainability that drive the profession forward.

At The Information Factory we don't physically move shipments around the globe. But we do move the data that helps power logistics companies. And we're proud of our involvement in this important industry. 🎂 Happy Global Day of Supply Chain, Logistics and Transportation!
